Under your feet

And breed into the earth

And how much you fought to stay

What cannot be said will tremble

Into the clay and send your murmurs

Into the years and the

Terracotta pots

And when years from your death,

Under the potter’s fire,

The mud is trialled

It will remember what you

Could not say

And the salt will live on

And your words will not break

They will echo
